About the Designer
Nathalie OhayonNathalie Ohayon was born in Montreal, Canada. From a young age, Nathalie was drawn to the arts – from studying classical ballet to earning her Laureate diploma in piano during her teenage years, all the while experimenting in mixed media and model-making in her spare time.
Always passionate about design + creating, and striving to find the balance between art + science, she enrolled at the esteemed McGill University where she obtained her master’s degree in Architecture. During her studies, she was selected to take part in a student exchange program that took her to Haifa, Israel for 6 months. After completing her master’s and having been awarded the Dunlop Scholarship, she travelled throughout Europe to see and experience what she had learned and dreamed about in her textbooks… More

How It Works
After the initial meeting with the client to review their wish list, the interior design process can be summed up by the following 5 steps:COMING UP WITH THE CONCEPT
The first part of the interior design process at Renov Aid Interiors always starts with a concept - it is what ties the entire process together and is intricately bound to the client.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Once the concept is established, the home’s design features are developed.
CONSTRUCTION
After all of the designs have been approved, construction begins. Renov Aid works very closely with the general contractor to ensure that all flooring, tile work, plumbing and electrical items get installed as specified in our plans.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
At Renov Aid Interiors, we manage our projects, which means an efficient and timely execution of your home’s construction and turnover. Depending on the stage of the project, site visits are made monthly, weekly or even daily, as we get closer to the final reveal. We work very closely with our vendors, trades and sub-contractors throughout the lifespan of your project and are responsible for the purchasing of materials and fixtures as well. In this way, we can be sure that all deliveries are properly coordinated within the project schedule.
PROJECT TURNOVER
The project’s turnover is the culmination of the design process. It is at this point that everything is pulled together – accessory shopping, fitting custom carpentry, touch-ups, delivering all of your furniture, cleaning, and installing any art and/or family photos.
